The Ujung Kulon National Park initially consisted of Natural preserve of Honje Mountai, Panaitan Island Natural Preservation, Handeuleum Island natural Preservation, and Ujung Kulon Natural reservation. As a UKNP constitutes a national beritage and a national pride which should be preserved for the interest of science, education, culture, recreation and tourism. In line with its status as a UKNP owns several ecosystems, among which the coral reef ecosystem which constitutes the habitat of various species of fish and has specific wealth of flora and fauna. Based on the workshop result on the protection and preservation of the marine natural resources in Tugu, West Java , then it also required to safeguard marine natural resources from the threat of damage and destruction with the efforts of preservation and protection. The purose of the protection and preservation of this marine natural resource is to control and to manage a art of the natural resources with the ecosystem approach for the welfare of the Indonesian Nation.
